Birmingham, Ala. - On the heels of its historic agreement with the Birmingham Mayor’s office, Eporro.com President Jim Cavale was invited as a guest on the morning show "Talk In Alabama" this Friday.
"Talk In Alabama" is a variety show, featuring home living and entertainment segments in the metro area. It airs on the local ABC affiliate from 9-10 central time daily. Cavale spoke with co-anchor Tracy Haynes about Eporro.com’s beginnings, and how the product has positively affected many student-athletes in the Birmingham area.
They also covered the time spectrum of when athletes begin to market themselves. Cavale explained, "You can really start in the 9th grade and chronicle your entire career. This allows you to get your name out there early so coaches become familiar with you as quick as possible."
Eporro.com currently has 25 high schools in the Birmingham vicinity under its umbrella, servicing close to 1000 student-athletes in that area. Any school who has signed or does ink with the website in the future gives its students free lifetime access to the database. For those parents who wish to sign up their children whose schools haven’t participated can do so for a small one-time fee of $100.
